This is a hard page to write, so I'm just going to babble on and hopefully you get some sort of idea of who I am from it. So here goes.
Who am I? I'm Heather.
I was born October 18th, 1985. That makes me 23 at the moment.
I live at home with my parents and my two siblings- Zac, my younger brother by 10 months, and my sister Hoov/Heidi who is about to turn 19.
We also have a dog, Gidget, and Heidi has a red-eared slider turtle named Harmony (don't ask).
I graduated in May of '08 with my BA in English.
I go to an off site graduate program so I can receive my teaching certificates in Secondary Ed with an English concentration and also Special Education.
I plan on teaching middle school english, hopefully in an online cyber-charter school based in Pittsburgh, similar to the one I graduated from.
Right now my life is filled with:
being the taxi driver for my family,
going to school,
and acting as the one who tries to defuse the intense situations my family tends to create/get into.
Life can be pretty chaotic, but I suppose everybody feels like that.
I like to focus on the practical things, though I can get extremely goofy (especially when tired) and I tend to talk to myself out loud.
I'm pretty down to earth and I kind of see myself as the most responsible person in my family (shh, don't tell them!).
I'm also a slob. To the extreme.
I'm very quiet. Very very quiet.
I'm even quiet after I get to know you. I just don't yell much.
Unless I'm being silly.
